ROCK FOR GOOD!!! hell yea! rocked big time lol. ok i lost abit of my voice and as of yesterday, a hell lot of my hearing =p
haha ok met taufiq at orchard then took 190 to rg and met muhd and his red cross fren along the way. then reached rgs met xuan lang and co. then went to the gate met uh kaibin (sp?) and nic chong. then met bib who passed me my tic.then we went in and met ari and a few other gep-ers. oh met victor and co. too then we wanted to wait for ari's fren who apparently we dunno whether she came or not and ari cant contact her cuz her fone's broken so yea. haha poor ari. either she stood him up or he stood her up without knowing. so we decided to go in cuz taufiq's fren+farina were like definitely gonna be late yea then met marktwoon and val. haha.
uh uh oh we went in skyjuice were like performing 'have a nice day'. ok lar not too bad but then i decided that skyjuice sucked yea cuz the song after that was rather bland. so yep crossbred was nxt!!!! ahhhhh! omg they so rawk la can they were playing steve vai and taufiq wasnt liking it! hahahaha cuz he was begging for them to play malmsteen but they played steve vai instead. rawker doods. ben i think? yea he's like damn pro with the freaking guitar it was damn cool ah.
we went out like um near the end of their perf to get water and go to the loo. lol. came up it was wgb!!! whee. hahaha they rawk but omg halfway like the sound system like totally died-ed so yea. the drummer started to do drum solo. uber cool man. then uh the drummer from the suns? i think cant seem to remember. joined him when he took a single drum and started playing. hahaha omg anyone who like just stepped in at that moment probly would've thot that he/she was at womad and not rfg. lol. then power came back so we started rawking.
then came the suns wootz they were uber cool man! now i know why they've been so hot in aussie. cuz they ARE hawt stuff. their music is damn funkay la there's like reggae/ska elements which is totally awesome. and damn bib has a fun job back stage of running onto stage and skanking with the guys. im jealous. hahaha.
after the suns was um RONIN!!!! yay!!!! woohoo i was reli uber high when ronin played tho my level of highness started to build up from the wgb perf. haha yea. was jumping aroud and omg i totally loved it man when they played my favourite numbers, [revolution] [do what thou wilt] [hail to the god of rocknroll] [the um rocknroll band song forgot the title =p] [black maria] and by this time we managed to creep to the front so yea! coolios. was jumping around and singing to all the songs =p they also played deep purple's black night as their opening number. and and after they finished black maria (i think? yea i think it was black maria) everyone was asking for encore! hahahaha even tho supposedly got no time and they agreed. and wth!!! they played sweet child of mine!!! AHHHHH!!!!! (where do we go =p) omg so funkaye la was jumping like mad now. haha oh yea then when got to the front saw syaz and all. haha
and for the final band! electrico!!! woohoo. haha their mosquito song was very buzzy. lol and after that was uh not sure. i think it was 'i want you' after that. yea as usual jumping woohoo hahaha then i cant remember their song lineups rdy. haha but i know got runaway oso! =))
then their finale was an uber upbeat song. haha and yea wads a rock concert without the traditional ritual of the performers getting into the crowd. wooooooh! shit i cant remember who went in oso. umm yea electrico's bassist went in. then the suns bassist i think or the lead. then got one more oso i think but i cant remember who it was.
overall: it rawked! ((:
and i think my after-gig look was better than my pre-gig look. hahahaha ok thats such a wadeva statement =p
