haha i know its been a long time since i last blogged (i think). so lets start with the saturday um the gathering at east coast. overall i must say it was pretty cool la. better than i expected. i guess. haha. saiful sure is pro at bowling. haha he got uh 115 at 99 for his 2 games. i got 96 n 97. hahaha pathet.
then after the gathering was the match against uwc at uwc. haha i must say it was disastrous. i think wei xun's right. blackburn was probly drunk that day. resulted in him saying that we played reli well cuz from my point of view, we played like crap. -shrugs- then this wednesday got match against the V college (or so blackburn calls it) from thai. haha fyi the V college is actually the vajiravudh college which whooped our arses when we visited them last year. hahaha. yikes i dun wish to say the outcome this wednesday. but im sure looking forward to the buffet (pronounced ba-fay by blackburn. lol) after the match.
man u beat portsmouth. woohoo! they played superb. scholes header was nice. and portsmouth still didnt learn their lesson and still didnt put a defender on that far post on subsequent corners. lol either they're blind or they believe that they have an invisible defender there whom only they can see. hahaha arsenal lost 2-0 to bolton. go arsenal! keep up this marvellous form ((: and crouchy finally scored! woah. haha peter crouch ends his scoring drought. lucky he scored a 2nd goal since the first one was eventually laid down as an own goal by the gk.
oooh sea games is finally over. and i must say singapore's dream team really deserves to be the water polo team and not the young lions. come on, the young lions were absolute failures. even i cannot fathom all the hype placed on the young lions, which included the lions dare and wadeva shit and also the t-shirt. haha now that its over, i wouldnt mind buying it just to wear. if not oso just to use as a rag la. aiyah levi's should withdraw their contract with the young lions and instead sponsor the water polo team. i mean like all this attention that they young lions receive are mostly from teenage girls who only care bout the lions looking good. face it. these crazy ppl dun give a shit about the skills. as long as the players have got looks, they're considered good. ok mebbe its true the lions have good looks but hey sum polo players look good too and even if they dun they make up for it with their skills. evidently by bringing back a gold medal for singapore. even athletes from other sports outshone the lions.
and where did the lions gain all this limelight one may ask. it came just for the fact that singapore won tiger cup. just that. nothing else. yes u may say that the tiger cup squad wasnt just the u-23 squad but so wad. u still gotta perform. i mean the sea games squad had the likes of itimi dickson, agu casmir, shahril ishak and other players who featured in the tiger cup. baihakki yea. and then u add in new foreign players like precious (tho i would say he's not reli precious to the lions squad. no pun intended) and still no result. haha yknow why? cuz just one tiger cup win and their egos are boosted all the way up. sky high. raddy may have said that the players played their best during the sea games. if thats true, then i gotta say hats down for the other countries who fell at the feet of singapore during the tiger cup cuz they definitely put in a lot of effort to improve themselves and to redeem themselves at sea games. while all this happened, the lions just sit down shake leg. haha. hence the disappointing result during sea games.
maybe the mcds should relook into the emphasis of soccer and try to shift it to other sports which can produce results and do the country proud.
in the meantime, its time to enjoy in melaka tmr! yay!
