hey guess wad. i dunno why but im in a mood to blog so i decided i shall give more detailed account of thailand tour. hahaha. but i dunno how diff it'll be frm my previous entry...
Day1
woke up darn early but cant rmb wad time ah. hahaha bathe and everything then left for the airport. erm i reached at about 0620hrs around there. then met up with the other sec 2 ruggers. haha the champion (the latest guy to come) was henri. then we were all kinda teasing him. haha. after everyone arrive ready we checked in our bags and then still had to wait for some time cuz by the time we finished check in was about 0730hrs and flight is at 0830hrs. then boarding time got on the plane. then found out winston was beside me (oh yea erm i got window seat) and beside him was ming qing. oh and we took valuair. then we reached thailand. took the bus straight to eastin hotel. first thing there before check-in was lunch. so there was buffet at the hotel. but faizal/faisal? haha told us that the food not halal and we can only eat the seafood and veg. so he brought us down to this alley which had been transformed into sum coffeeshop. the food there was superb! haha. after lunch it was time to check in. and yea well my roommate was kah wei. the guy on crutches. haha. then we had training at this stadium lar. kaoz the air there is crap. super dusty and dry. then after training went back had dinner at the same alley. but this time we ordered the pad thai from the roadside stall. nicer than inside!!! dinner over, had briefing about the next day's game and guess wad. i was made captain for the b team!! hahah never saw it coming at all ah. heck so go back to room play cards; daidee n bridge. yea that was wad we did in free time at hotel. cards, tv.
Day2
woke up early for breakfast then went back to the room play cards and watch nfl. after that got ready to leave for the college we playing. yea in the bus. i was kinda nervous. haha. got there the college is like OH-SO-HUGEEEE!! much much bigger than ri. hahaha. erm turns out king's college was no.2 actually and this vaji something something college is no.1 in thailand. seriously when u hear someone mention it, totally sounds like vashivaro/mashimaro. yea. then we saw the team us b team were up against and they were HUGE. the match started. even worse. they were HUGE and FAST. we got trashed out there 40something-0. hrms.. then a team match. the oppo were even more huge and fast. they got trashed 60something-11 i think? cant rmb. and i got to play in the a-team match!! whee. haha. oh yea forgot to mention. my ankle was sprained in b team match then my thigh was strained in the a team match. haha both on the left side. after match had dinner at the college. after dinner i think we went back and i went to get more pad thai!! haha. every night oso sleep late cuz sure got ppl like gabriel, ming qing, wei xun and iwan come to our room.
Day3
the day almost everyone waited for. wednesday. shopping day!! haha yea k so wake up for breakfast then leave for mbk centre (maboonkong i think) yea woah the stuff there really value for money.. u can get the same brand in s'pore but the stuff here cost tons more than wad it cost there. hmmm bought a man u jersey (finally a nike man u jersey) and tons and tons of tees. haha. it was t-shirt paradise i tell u. then bought boardshorts. haiz... regretting now. should've bought more stuff there. haha. bah but shopping such a short time. only 2 n half hrs to shop. so sian. after that training. then at night after dinner we went to the night market. whee!! down there tons of cheap stuff too. again im regretting cuz should've bought more stuff. in the end i just bought some nice candles frm there. then go back play cards watch tv sleep. haha. oh and yea i think i screwed up training. my passing was totally off. me n henri oso. haha.
Day4
woke up breakfast again then had to prepare for match. this time had to prepare early and we all had no idea why really. it turns out that king's college is about 2hrs+ frm where we were. like omg. slept in the bus. woke up still havent reach. then we finally reached. turns out kings college isnt as nice as the mashimaro college. well yea no.2 wad.but woah they had a grand welcome for us ah. even got pre-match ceremony for us to receive tokens frm the president of the sch. coolios. then match start. turns out they arent as hard as the mashimaro guys but still we didnt get to beat them though we weren't trashed. haha but we seriously should've won. the a team. woah they played superb rugby i tell u and they seriously deserved to win. kings college shouldnt have been given a try cuz they ran out of bounds ready even the linesman raised his flag but the ref was blind so too bad. 5-5. oh and know something i should've been awarded a try ah. i ready dived straight in for the try and the ref still can penalise me for double movement. wtf ah. then had dinner at some seafood restaurant. the food was not bad but too little. haha. then there we planned ready not to sleep. play cards the whole night. then sleep the nxt morn in the bus n plane. then the whole night me syafiq anwaar wei xun and justin just stuck as one grp so at first we were playing cards in justin room. then went down 7-11 bought chocs and drinks then go anwaar room. then we sian of playing cards ready we watch tv. then sian ready all decided to sleep in that room since it was oredi like 2+ nearly 3? anyway kah wei was in daniel's room so heck.
Day5
the last day in thailand. somehow i couldnt wait to be back home. haha. darn tired lar woke up at 0530hrs. then went down for breakfast with the 4 of them. didnt really have the mood to eat. haha too sleepy i think. then went back up pack everything left and went down to checkout. go airport then check in and stuff then got on the plane. and i slept straightaway. only woke up to eat then sleep back. haha. got back and was darn darn tired. got loads of sleep after that. haha.
yea so i guess that was a VERY detailed version of my thailand trip. haha yea k lar.
