whee! all my frens are back from holidays ready!!! haha so fun.. yea but there's only one fren who made a big difference to me by coming back... ahhakz. nvm shan't go into much details lar... haha anyway the whole of yesterday was B-O-R-I-N-G. yea jus 6 letters. haha but the whole day i was sitting at home waiting for that one message to make me smile. hehe and yea it came at night at 2253hrs so yea! haha lucky i was still awake watching tv but yalar i was staying awake till i get the message. haha.
then yesterday evening on tv then watch ndp. haiz so cliche. every year oso the same thing appear on ur tv screen. evening performances, red lions on their parachutes. then after that all the uniform grp thingy all come in and form up and wadeva crap. then wait for PM and president to come in their oh-so-nice car making an oh-so-grand entrance with all their oh-so-horrendous bodyguards of police on their bikes. haha. then sing national anthem with the choppers bringing this oh-so-
huge singapore flag. then after that the pilots will make an oh-so-noisy appearance with their jets but heck lar the noise is ok. bearable. haha. oh yea and did i mention all this while the choir will be singing all the national day songs? and did i mention singapore is totally not original? yea changing the song 'home' into a so-called 'hip-hop' version. bleargh! the original one is soooo much better lar. then wait the president make inspection of the guard of honor. then he boards this jeep and makes one whole round around the whole stadium waving at the crowd. hmmm not pain ah his arm? haha.
then when night falls, all the performances all spring up and all the lights and colours all apear on the field. not bad lar although every year oso about the same things appear. heh. but yea the thing about ndp which is always different is the fireworks! hell yea it gets better every year... haiz... too bad we didn't go my uncle's house which is oh-so-near to the stadium and u can see everything frm there. frm the planes to the choppers to the fire works to the helicopter which is carrying the aerial camera. haha. yea then erm the same thing every year. President S R Nathan rushes off into his car to get back cuz his wife jus phoned him to tell him that she bought thosai ready so he quickly wanna go back and eat. hehe. darn i wonder how he keeps his body in shape... ooooh but yesterday was special. cuz there was a tribute to PM Goh since yesterday was his last ndp as prime minister... whee u've worked wonder for singapore! damn i envy SM Lee cuz every year oso he go ndp den surely if u go his house ah got a lot of the ndp goody bags... hahaha. damn he should jus give me ah.
haiz... yea then after parade got the long-awaited
SINGAPORE IDOL!!! hahaha interesting indeed. dick lee is the best judge there. attitude like randy but comments like simon. haha. lemon tree guy rawks my sox!!! hahaha! awww but rocky so poor thing. wad a pity he more on the opera side though his voice not bad ah. then there were dunno how many guys who sang mandy by westlife. dick lee kept on giving diff comments for each guy. mandy will die. mandy will go crazy. and all the other funky comments lar. haha its amusing to know that there are such people who take part in this singapore idol in our community ah. coolness
