hey all. today was a pretty exciting but tiring day ah. well today was the jim weir cup tournament. its the prelude to the kiwi cup where its saints vs ri in everyting. as in open age category and the over-35 category. haha yepz u got me right there over-35!! well and this yr the jim weir cup they included a match for the u-16 which well generally meant our sec 3s against their sec 3s. so yeah.
first match u-16 match. oh yea and all the sec 2s (about 12 or 13 of us) were ballboys whee! damn fun ah! not sarcastic.yea k so the match started and all that. then play play play then saints were leading ri cant remember the score ready =p yea then the match was stopped halfway thru 2nd half and was postponed (supposedly) cuz there was lightning. but in the end when the rain all stopped, due to time contraints the u-16 match was called off and they got on straight to the open category match.
nice match. it was nice watching the old boys frm both schools playing their hearts out. haha. but relli lar... hmmm saints got off to a better start and scored a lot? i dunno i think so lar. but in 2nd half around there raffles started picking up and started scoring. in the end i dunno who win lar cuz i not sure of the final score though i think saints won. all i know is that the last score update that i know was saints 23, raffles 19 so yea. dunno lar wedda raffles scored anymore anot. yay then after the match finished, went straight on the the highlight match of the tournament, the over-35 match. whee!!!
haha call me mean but i was looking forward to having at least 50 subs for both sides. cuz i expected a lot of old bones breaking. hahahaha. so evil ah i. k ah but actually the match wasn't so bad lar. in fact there was oni 1 major injury where the saints guy had to be stretchered off the field. not too sure wad happened. haha and it was the oni major injury for the whole day. oh wait no. the saints u-16 got injury to one of their players in WARM UP eh. match havent even start lar. he run so darn fast that he tripped on his own leg and i think his arm fractured or sumthing cuz after that his arm was in a cast :s... heh. yea the over-35 match saints won 7-0. if im not mistaken. good match overall.
then i stayed back for the dinner by the swimming pool. hmmm... the food was ok lar though it was actually frm dining hall. but wad was fun was that 3 guys got a dip in the pool. we threw kenneth tan into the pool. then we threw kendrick into the pool. both sec 1s. then after that we want to throw kenneth in again so this yong han (sec 2) go to the side of pool want to throw kenneth in. but suddenly kendrick come frm behind and pushed yong han. then yong han grabbing out for support so happened grabbed kennth and both of them got a splash in the pool. haha so fun! haiz. then after eat and all go back and well here i am now. overall it was a fun day but quite tiring too... haha k lar dats all
